A Montana ranching family faces off against others who are encroaching on their land… Forry J. Smith, who plays Lloyd, is a veteran of the rodeo world. John Dutton (Kevin Costner) often seems to have „forgotten“ his Montana accent and reverts back to the SoCal voice he usually uses. Yellowstone is a solidly written drama – great characters, well-crafted – that draws its tone from several different modern masterpieces, the dramatic dynamics of shows like ‘Dynasty’ or any other network drama like it. Much credit must go to Costner and Cole Houser – these guys delivered 100%. I didn’t expect to be drawn into this show the way I did. It’s worth your time.
