This show is ridiculously unrealistic, but honestly, I don’t even care
It’s obviously not supposed to be the most serious show ever, so I’m totally okay with it being completely over the top. The lead actors are very good looking and are doing a decent enough job with their acting (nothing to write home about, of course). The actors are definitely too old for the roles they’re playing, until Sarah said she was only 16, I wasn’t really sure how old they were supposed to be.
But still, this is nothing new
Casting age-appropriate actors is super hard, so I can’t really take points away for this. I’m not completely finished with it yet, but so far it’s fun, fast-paced, entertaining. Edit: After finishing the show I CAN’T WAIT for season 2.
Netflix, you did it again!
It’s gotten SO MUCH better with each episode, and honestly, it felt like a really high-quality production by the end, and is a great setup for a potential second season. What impressed me the most was how well written the dialogue was, it was so believable. If you can ignore the fact that they don’t look like 16 at all, they definitely act like a bunch of dumb 16-year-olds.
